Meerkat Adventure in Oudtshoorn


The small town of Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo is ‘the’ location to see Ostriches in South Africa. Surrounded by Ostrich farms the town has grown its tourism base around watching, eating and even riding the world’s largest bird. However, for those looking for something a little more unique and off the beaten track the town also offers the rare chance to get up close and personal with one of the members of “The Shy Five” – the meerkat.
