The pre-schools provide care for babies and children between 3 months and 6 years old, up until the time that they can enter the mainstream education system. The schools play a vital role in the community by offering a safe environment for children to interact, socialize, learn and play. The facility provides peace of mind for working parents, and enable single mothers to go to work while their children are being looked after.

During the festive celebration approximately 80 Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to thank all the remarkable people who contributed their valuable time and efforts to these important nursery facilities and communities over the years.

Rev. Makaluza and Rev. Doro opened the event with prayers and Michael Kosile (Nyauza) skilfully directed the afternoon’s proceedings. Andile Nzuzo from Inkululeko Tours stressed the need for strong relationships between local tour operators and community projects, while performances of the Langa gospel choir and girls’ dancing troupes provided some light entertainment. It turned into a most enjoyable and lively afternoon.
